Didn't as much done tonight but got the learning curve out of the way. Added brickwork (embossed wallpaper) and got superglue all over my fingers:

Hopefully I'll get the terrain finished and painted over the weekend, then next week I can paint up the rest of the figures.

The main body of the building is made from 5mm foam core (or foam board, forgot which it actually is) from hobbycraft but I think they'll have it most art and craft shops

This is looking very good indeed now I've just got to show up and hog some undeserved credit. Think I should get you to paint up my whole army and do all the conversions necessary if it ever shows up !!!!!
Don't want mine looking like Dads army in comparison

Not as much progress as I would have liked this weekend. A lot of time was wasted getting stuff yesterday, then I ran out of white glue. I'm certain I'll get it done by saturday but I reckon it'll be one of my usual painting til 4am jobs on morrison's imitation redbull the night before. Also the scenario will have to be changed as I don't have time to do a canal.

The real delay has been the pit headgear (still very WIP) as I was going to use a hornby one then realised how tiny it was.

Still not arrived yet, James? Fingers crossed for next week.

Cheers paul, really do think I've jumped in at the deep end on this though - I've wasted a lot of time learning as I go and nearly met with disaster when my poundshop superglue started dissolving exposed foam! Proper started panicking as I need to spray paint the foam but luckily my spray paint doesn't damage it (something to do with what propellant uses), if the spray paint dissolved my test bit of foam I would've been up s creek without a paddle as there's no way I'd have time to undercoat everything by hand.
