I say, the "Fifth Column" set is rather good value. It's like a VBCW Skirmish force in a box for £41!

They look nice and are obviously very good for VBCW but I have to say that I still favour the Footsore miniatures. However these do have a certain thuggish edge over the Footsore versions.

They certainly do look good and my first thought was take out the ones armed with rifles and you could use them for a Battle of Cable Street scenario. I will be using the Footsore figures for my main BUF Legion and the Warlord ones for a local BUF militia force.

The Fifth Column set is certainly good value at £41, just need to top up the order to £50 to get free postage.

With these figures along with the LDV figures from Warlord, the promise of more figures from Footsore (some being released this month) and the upcoming release of 1930s British infantry figures from Mutton Chop this could be one of the best years ever for VBCW miniatures :xcite

I saw that and wondered if they'd always stocked Footsore or if it is a new thing.

New thing, I think. Read somewhere that someone involved with Footsore works for Warlord.

Also at Phalanx today, Ainsty Castings were carrying a lot of the Footsore range especially the Dark Age ranges
