Gentlemen!

Bungle and I are pondering a project at the moment and would welcome your most esteemed voting, and thoughts if you have them within this thread.

The question is if Mr Paul Hicks were to sculpt packs of ladies in interwar era dress armed with Rifles and the usual assortment of LMG/NCO Officer type figures would you buy them.

If you think you would genuinely buy the figures (not just think its a good idea) please vote as appropriate.

Do a pack of civilian and then a pack of Government worker types (GPO, GWR, LMS, etc) then Yes.

Would definitely be interested in some armed civvie ladies, there are too few suitable female figures around for VCBW.

I would suggest that if the heads are separate, that would help increase potential variety without the need for lots of separate figures.
eg: head with side cap; head with scarf; head with steel helmet; bare head (permed); bare head (other appropriate hair style); head with peaked cap.

Whilst I'd like a second set, I think the main gap in the ranges is for medical personnel - a doctor, military medic, nurse and a first aider, some of whom would be female and help increase the totty, sorry (cough) increase the number of ladies....

If you are looking for a kickstarter up front payment, I'd be interested.

We may look at a group funding type of thing in the future, but for the moment we are trying to gauge interest, and see how many packs could likely be sold, at least on initial release.

I agree there is a dearth of medical personnel, but personally I don't think that unarmed medics would sell in big enough numbers to meet the costs. I'm not saying I don't want them, just that I think realistically they would be a bit niche, particularly in the interwar period.

As bungle says a more generic 30's lady is more realistic and more likely to sell well enough not to leave the retailer out of pocket. Separate heads is an interesting prospect, I'm not sure how that would work with regards to casting and costs. I agree that would widen the use of the figures allowing for more combinations.

Separate heads would allow people to get more packs. See how many different uses the Gripping Beast Woodbine's have with the different head system.

When I said a nurse/doctor I meant in the command pack. Most WWII Rusians have a similar figure, but it would be nice to have a more British looking one.
