Partizan 16, May 22

This is going to be a large game, the board size is going to be 12' by 6' and it is going to be a land grab or rather a resource grab and/or denial game based around the mine at Asfordby near Melton Mowbray.

The basic plot is the miners at the mine have called upon there brother miners to help free them from the yoke of the Duke of Rutland's grip and the Duke cannot let that happen. So the players will need to bring at least a section of miners, 10 men, if banners are needed I am happy to create them for you.

What I am aiming for is at least two platoons of miners, with there colliery banners flying in the wind, with PAC forces support, coming to the aid of their fellow miners.

The rest to be fleshed out. So can I have names for chaps to help out and play.

I will shortly have a plot and a wee story and here is a couple of pictures of what Ashfordby Colliery looks like now. I believe these are the pump rooms and the mine heads and they have been flooded to create his small lake. They have also flooded the other mines in the area that are connected to the colliery but the mining villages are still there.

I can play, I am prepping my Sloppy Jalopy miners for painting this week. I will let you know if
I need a banner, thanks for the offer.
I like the idea of a bigger table, though my arms might not be long enough.
Just a thought, if we all bring 10 miners, who are we going to fight?

PK - attached some pictures - you have seen the boards. They measure 47in across; if you want to use them I will see about another 2ft section.
The unit stands 4cm tall & 55 cm from front to back.

PK,
Should be there. Definitely one section of miners, possibly a platoon. Can do a small PAC force or can be baddies, if necessary.

People Assault Column, the Leicestershire Miners would be at the forefront of it

My daughter flies back from the US that day, so count me out I'm afraid.
